Company History

1936	Founded at Ohkurayama, Yokohama-Shi with the capital of 500 thousand Yen, in order to manufacture the bright steel bars.
1946	Hajime Yamaoka took office the President.
1952	Bright Steel Bar Drawing System was developed.(Patent No.20879)
1958	Designated as the model plant for the rationalization of the small size companies.(1958-1960)
1961	The parts production Dept. was closed in order to expand the ground bar products and the heat treatment as the leading bright steel manufacturer.
1964	Started the rationalization plan i.e., re-building of complete plant, installation of peeling machine and bar to bar drawing machine.(completed on 1971)
1978	Started the marketing of the wire rod for the cold forming process.
1985	Capital of the company was increased to 50 million Yen.
1986	Moved the head office and plant completely to Kurihama, Yokosuka-shi. Executed the rationalization taking this moving, i.e., additional installation of combined drawing machine, newly installation of an automatic pickling line, newly installation of heat treatment furnace, additional installation of peeling machine.
1993	Hiromichi Doi took office the President.
2000	Hisakazu Sekiya took office the President. Logistic Dept. started their service as an independent company IKEUCHI KOSAN.
2010	IKEUTI-SUMMIT(FOSHAN)PRECISION PROCESSING CO.,LTD in Foshan City(China).
2012	Keiichiro Yamaoka took office the President.
